Jeremy Sorkin

I'm Jeremy Sorkin. 47 going on 17...or is it 74. I am married to Gaynor and I have three children, Zack, Jake and Tara.
Born in Leeds I attended Brodetsky primary followed by Harrogate Grammar, where I ended swiftly my short lived academic career. I have been selling sweets and chocolates for 32 years and have decided to finally hang up my overall, and made a fresh start. I am available for washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking. ( I've been told I make a mean beans on toast)

What made you decide to participate in Dancing?

I decided to take part in dancing strictly because I have always had a great passion for music and dancing. But... As the great Les Dawson once said, "I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order". That sums up my dancing; I can learn the right steps, but not dance them necessarily in the right order. No matter. Always happy to have a go for charity.

Who would be your dream dancing partner?

Olivia Newton John would be my dream dancing partner. Re-enacting that famous song and dance scene, 'You're the one that I want' from grease. Always fancied myself as the next John Travolta!
